Strings | Cello
Paul started playing the cello when he was 13 years old. He is a graduate of St. Scholastica's College Manila with the degree of Bachelor of Music Major in Performance, with Cello Principal under the tutelage of Prof. Anjo Inacay.
Paul participated in the National Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA), and was a finalist in the year 2015 in Category C, and won 1st prize and best interpretation of contest piece in the year 2017 for Lower Strings, Category C. In 2018, Paul won 1st place with outstanding success at the prestigious Summa Cum Laude festival held in Vienna, Austria with the Manila Symphony Junior Orchestra. In 2019, he represented the Philippines in the Asian Youth Orchestra which toured in 10 cities in 4 different countries. Paul was a member along with 9 other Filipino delegates. Paul is also an active member of the Manila Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Marlon Chen.
Paul had participated in master classes given by Ray Wang, Richard Bamping, Victor Coo, Dr. Kimberly Patterson, Claus Kanngeisser and Rhonda Rider
